Hello!

In March we did lots of spin art and celebrated St Patrick's Day with all things green. We have also welcomed some new classroom pets! Meet Yoko and Ringo, our Blue Death Feigning Beetles (Asbolus verrucosus). They are a species of Darkling Beetles native to Arizona and the deserts of the southwestern United States. We took the time to learn all about beetles and how they have an exoskeleton (and us an endoskeleton) as well as how beetles markings are symmetrical with a myriad of projects.
