Art with Kayla
This month in art the children got to make some “spooky” art. We made scribble monsters inspired by not just a scribble. Mummies were made with torn white paper. The children were invited to decorate pumpkins with a variety of supplies including stickers, cut paper, markers, and an assortment of other random materials. The children went crazy with the Halloween stickers! They sure love stickers, which also are a great fine motor activity. I also created Halloween inspired sensory bins with ping pong eyes, black and orange rice and fun mini Halloween buckets. I also had invisible oorbeez in the water, which they had fun searching for. Next month I have activities inspired by book week, November 7-13, foods, friendship, and of course Thanksgiving I can’t wait to see the fun art the children will create!
