Welcome Winter

In November we learned about what plants do in fall and winter by exploring seeds and seed pods, as well as playing with leaves with leaf rubbings and leaf crowns.   We learned about grains like corn and how different each cultivar can be. My mom also visited from all the way in Virginia, she had such a great time meeting all of the kiddos and seeing the school for the first time.
